FAQs

We aim to deliver a quality service. If you are looking for a suit fitting we would recommend you book an appointment with us.

We have tried to cover some of the question we often hear from our customers.
If you need any other questions, feel free to contact us.

I need a suit just for myself, do I need to book?

Weekdays are generally quieter, so individuals will not likely need an appointment, but to be sure of the best service during a wedding consultation it is advisable to book ahead.

If you plan on coming at a weekend, we recommend calling ahead to make a booking. While we’ll always do our best to accommodate you if you do turn up without one, sometimes there may be a small wait.

For larger wedding parties, we always recommend booking ahead. We do advise selecting the specific suit prior to this.

What do I get in a fitting? Are your suits bespoke?

We don’t usually recommend booking a fitting unless you have a clear idea of what you want. This saves wasting your time if we don’t have what you require.

We currently do not offer a bespoke service (where a suit is constructed to your exact measurements). Instead, we offer a wide range of alterations to our ‘off-the-peg’ products.

During the appointment, you will receive personal service and be able to try on one or two suits you preselected. We will ascertain your exact size, and pin anything that needs altering like sleeve length, trouser length, slimmer trousers, or jacket waist to name a few.

The purpose of a fitting is give you as close an idea as possible to a finished look, with the option to try shirts, ties, and shoes as well. We then complete alterations after purchase, ready in a matter of days.

I’m getting married next year, can I try a few things on now?

With our stock, much of the selection is seasonal and therefore changes often. Some lines remain the same, but if your wedding is far in the future, what you find now may be out of stock by the time you’re ready to purchase.

Of course, you are always welcome to come in and see what we have, and if you find something you really like, you can always purchase ahead of time, and wait until closer to the date to complete any alterations.

If you do this, don’t forget that if you have a large groom party, you’ll need to set aside a suit for each of them with a deposit to avoid it going out of stock.

I bought a suit already, can I have it altered at your shop?

If you purchased anything from us, you are more than welcome to bring it back for alterations (with your original receipt). Alterations have a small cost associated with them depending on what needs to be done.

We do not offer an alterations service on items purchased from other retailers.

If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to contact us and one of the team will be happy to help with your requests.
